Our eclectic wine selections currently consist of 50 retail wines by the bottle and will have allocated and small production wines, so once they are gone, they are gone, but then they will be replaced by another great selection. Most of these wines represent the great wines of California, and where we think California is heading. We love those progressive and farm-oriented producers like Hirsch, Sandhi, Ceritas, Cruse Wine Co., RAEN, and Arnot-Roberts. We pride ourselves in highlighting the up-and-comers and producers we want everyone to know about, such as Lieu Dit, Joyce, Eden Rift, Tatomer, Vocal, The Mascot, and Ashes & Diamonds. Just like our tasty bread and pastries, we also enjoy the classics, and that’s why you’ll also see producers that have both quality and history on their side, such as Chateau Montelena, Hietz Cellars and Corison, to name a few. And because we love Old-World charm, we will surely have a few Old-World gems available from Champagne and Burgundy.
When talking about beer, we don’t have to go far. The Bay Area is home to some of the most excellent breweries, and specifically, the East Bay has some strong beer history with some modern visionaries. We will have less than ten beer selections available only in a can format, which represents mostly the East Bay, including Almanac, Temescal, and East Brother.
While our beer & wines are sold at retail, you will be able to enjoy them here at Eastbay Provisions with a small corkage fee of $15 per wine bottle and $3 per beer can including a handful of wines that will be available by-the-glass.
