Limewood Bar and Restaurant, in partnership with Berkeley’s Apothecarium and Cultivating Spirits, is redefining the at-home pairing dinner. A curated menu and desired cannabis high is on the menu for Friday, March 5, 2021. Epicurean food is more delicious paired with the right wine: Imagine the mind-blowing deliciousness of a skilled match-up of expertly-prepped food and top-shelf cannabis. The pairing is perfected through smoking, harmonizing the flavors to enhance the meal, while teaching participants how to identify their high by understanding the organoleptic properties of the cannabis. Limewood’s food-and-weed pairings guarantee to take your dining experience to new heights. The first in a series event will feature world-class cuisine, local craft cannabis, and a 4-course Farm-to-Fork meal.

Guests will pick up prepared meals from the hotel on the afternoon of March 5th at the Carriage Entrance of the hotel, between 3:00pm-5:00pm. The cannabis selections will be available for purchase at The Apothecarium Berkeley beginning at 9:00am on March 5th and may be ordered in-person at the dispensary or online for curbside pickup at 2312 Telegraph Avenue, Berkeley, CA.
At 6:00pm, discerning diners and partakers will join a ZOOM call for a private “meet and greet” with Chef Paire and Cultivation Spirits Founder/CEO, Philip Wolf. The chef will provide a meal introduction and overview with heating and plating instructions. Philip will then introduce the two selected strains and share pairing and “smoking notes”.

Join the team from Napa’s Freemark Abbey for a to-go wine paired dinner on February 26, 2021. Taste the complexity of the wines being grown in Napa Valley. The four-course, uniquely prepared 32oz Rotisserie Bone-In Prime Rib Limewood Dinner will include one Chardonnay, Merlot, and two Cabernet Sauvignon. $175 for two people. *A donation of $10 per package will be donated to Black Earth Farms, a Berkeley-based farming collective, focuses on creating food sovereignty in the community.
The evening will include a 30-minute ZOOM meet and greet with Freemark Abbey’s notable winemaker, Kristy Melton, plus a detailed presentation from Limewood’s Executive Chef, Joseph Paire.

Guests will then hear from Freemark Abbey winemaker, Kristy Melton, who will speak about each wine selection. There will be a Q and A session at the end of the call.
